Trump Ocean Club will Open in Mid-2011

The building located on the Panama Bay is 70 stories high and will be the largest hotel in Latin America.

The hotel, the first in Latin America of the Trump Hotel Collection brand, has 369 rooms of between 48.8 and 145 square meters, a 929 square meter spa and about 1,500 square meters of events areas.

"The complex, located in Punta Pacifica, will overlook Isla Perla and the Pacific Ocean, and is near shopping areas, business premises, International Banking Centers and the Southern Corridor highway, informed Cnnexpansion.com.

New Marriott Resort in Panama

Situated on the Pacific, 55 kilometers from Panama City, will be the new Panama Marriott Resort Casamar, a 5 star hotel with 180 rooms in several interconnected buildings.

Marriott Hotels & Resorts have announced plans to develop a 180-room hotel in the resort community Casamar on the Pacific coast of Panama.

Panama: Trump Ocean Club to Open in 2011

The $400 million real estate project “Trump Ocean Club”, is slated to be ready by early 2011.

Roger Khafif, project leader, told AP that they have already completed 66 of the 70 stories of the tower, whose construction began on May 2007.

“It is the most expensive real estate project in Latin America, with over 2.8 million square feet and 70 stories”, told the developers in a press release.

Trump hails brisk sales of Panama Ocean Club

Almost 80 percent of Trump Ocean Club in Panama has already been sold – two years before the development is due for completion – announced Donald Trump Jr., vice-president of the Trump Organization.

The 70-story development is now under construction at Punta Pacífica. "Panama is a much more mature market than I had thought," Trump Jr.

New luxury hotel project announced in Panama

Orient-Express Hotels and The Related Group have formed an alliance to develop projects in Panama.

The hotel chain Orient Express Hotels Ltd. owns and administers 55 luxury hotels in 25 countries, and The Related Group is an important real estate developer in the United States. They will jointly develop hotels and residential projects in Panama, Colombia and Miami.
