U.S and Nicaraguan Business Chambers Sign Alliance

This commercial alliance aims to assist Nicaraguan small and medium industrial companies.

Signed between NACC (American Nicaraguan Chamber of Commerce) and CADIN (Nicaraguan Chamber of Industries), the alliance looks to foster and promote bilateral trade.

Alfonso Oviedo, NACC president, commented that "the alliance will strengthen trade and exporting mechanisms for SMEs. We are working on opening markets in the U.S. and advising them on exporting requirements".

Wal-Mart / Fecaxca Alliance to Benefit SMEs

With this alliance, Wal-Mart will promote the inclusion of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) of the region in its international suppliers network.

Under the terms of the agreement it signed with Fecaexca, the Federation of Central American Chambers of Exporters, the company will train SMEs in international commerce and make them part of its business rounds, so they can become Wal-Mart suppliers outside of Central America.

Nicaragua exporters seek support from Small and medium businesses

With the implementation of a series of projects to help increase performance and to establish strategic alliances, exporters are looking to increase the performance of small and medium companies.

Enrique Zamora, President of the Association of Nicaraguan Exporters and Producers (APEN), said that next week they will travel to Mexico to settle a project with the EU that will help to internationalize their products to 2 thousand small and medium businesses in Central America.

Exporters from El Salvador and Ecuador Form Alliance

Associations of Salvadoran and Ecuadorian exporters have signed an agreement to encourage trade.

The agreement will last a year and seeks to strengthen the commercial relationship between the countries by implementing actions that will lead to a sustained increase in trade.
