The new terminal, which may be located in Howard Airport, will go to tender toward the end of April.
The company awarded project, worth approximately $3 million, will build a 23,000 m2 terminal: 10,000 for the buildings and 13,000 for the aircraft facilities.
The bid proposal is to include a clause detailing how the private aircraft terminal that is currently located at Tocumen Airport could be transferred to Howard.

London & Regional inaugurated the visitor center at Project Panama Pacifico.
Construction of the two buildings which compose it started January 2009 and finished January 2010.

Construction of the first phase of the $70 million Howard, Panama-Pacific Project starts tomorrow.
London & Regional Panama, master developer of the Panama-Pacific Special Economic Area, will hold the official innaguration for construction start up.

Howard airport is moving forward with negotiations and is preparing its installations to position itself as an excellent destination for charter flights.
"The hope is that we can start the service in full in 2009," reported Rosa Muñoz, director of the airport.
