With an investment of $4 million Mango Plaza, located near the International Juan Santamaria Airport will open in December.
The new center will feature stores, supermarkets, appliance stores, fast food restaurants, and a small office building.
The office center will be located in the same complex where Courtyard by Marriott, operated by Caribe Hospitality, can also be found.

Exhibitors from Central America, Canada and the United States gather together in El Salvador for the International Fair ‘Construexpo 2012’.
2012 kicks off with 140 exhibitors at the Construexpo event which aims to forge alliances and synergies that will promote the growth of a vital sector of the Salvadoran economy.
Mario Rivera, president of the Salvadoran Chamber of Construction Industry (Casalco), said the industry "continues to recover very slowly," according to ElSalvador.com.

Authorities want to finish the hydroelectric station in Guatemala, a project costing between $350 and $450 million.
The development of hydroelectric station Xalalá, located between Uspantán, Quiché, and Coban, Alta Verapaz, is one of the National Institute of Electrification’s (INDE) current projects, as part of its Strategic Plan 2012-2015.
The new plant will be able to generate 180 megawatts (MW) for the country, officials said to the press, as reported by the newspaper Diario de Centro America in its website.

The Ministry of Works and the Agency for International Cooperation of Japan have signed a cooperation agreement for a bridge renovation project.

Petrogolfo, a U.S. company in the energy sector, plans to relocate a center in Texas and open a $600 million refinery that will process from 30 thousand to 40 thousand barrels of oil a day, and has already signed a memorandum of understanding with the Mayor of the City of Acajutla, El Salvador.
