In the past two years, the value of constructions in the district of Arraijan, in the central-western part of the Province of Panama, rose to $200 million.
Of all the money invested, $97 million corresponds to non-residential projects.

In the next five years, London & Regional, the company in charge of the master planned development (MPD) will manage $345 million worth of works.
Olmedo Alfaro, general administrator of the Panama-Pacifico Special Economic Area Agency (AEP), highlighted that, “in these five years, more than $300 million will be invested representing a switch from the planning to operational phase for Panama-Pacifico”.

The Panamanian Government is assessing the feasibility of building a road linking the special Economic Area Panama Pacifico and the Centennial Bridge.
A commission with members from the Panama Canal Authority, the Public Works Ministry, the Justice Ministry and the National Environment Authority are evaluating three possible routes to the west of Panama City.

Cable & Wireless Panama formalized its participation in the Panamá Pacífico Project.
The agreement was signed with London & Regional, developer of the project, which is located in the former U.S. Howard air base.

The shipping services agency signed a contract with London & Regional - Panama to settle in the Panamá Pacífico Park.
Although the Panamá Pacífico International Business Park is still under construction, the company will settle into one of the temporary offices in the park.

The British company, London & Regional, is developing the project which would imply a $705 million investment over the next 40 years.
In an article in La Estrella de Panama, some of the characteristics of the project are described, which consists of a sustainable city with business parks, logistics, tourism and residential areas.
Located near the city of Panama, the construction project began in November, 2008 and envisions the creation of 40,000 jobs and 20,000 new homes.

3PL Pan-American, the logistics services company, will be the first to set up in the Pan-American Corporate Center (CCP) which is a part of the Howard development plan.
London & Regional Panama (L&RP), the main developer of the Special Economic Area of Panama Pacific, reported that it has signed an operations contract with 3PL.

The Amarican multinational 3M has chosen Panama as headquarters for its new technology manufacturing and distribution center.
With an initial investment of 15 million dollars, it will set up shop in Howard.
